5 May 14 (Monday)

Dear children,

I hope you conquered the English Language Test easily today. I'm looking forward to hearing good news from the teacher marking 2/2's papers! :)

These are the nineteen Super Spellers from last Friday's spelling:

Christian and Joshua from Lego
Thaneeisha and Raeann from Gold
Seth and Amelie from Avatar
Joel, Ashley and Vanessa from iPad
Ezra, Risa and Wei Xiang from Ice
Zhi Zong and Phoebe from Disney
Natalie, Jenna and Richelle from Seashell
Elijah and Janine from Legend

Each of them earned 2 ice-cream sticks for their groups.

Here's the ice-cream sticks update for the first week of May:

Ice and Seashell are leading. The scores are still quite close to one another because we've just begun the month. Let's see which group will lead the class by the end of this week. ;)

I just logged on to KooBits a while ago to see what progress 2/2 has made. I must say that I'm amazed by the very good progress shown by a few of you.

With one week worth of effort, Brian has moved up 3 levels into the Mathematicians League! Like Seth, Brian has mastered every single skill in the P2 Math Leagues. There's now nothing that should stop him from moving on to master the P3 skills! Well done, Brian! :)

Also progressing very well are Natalie and Elijah, who have moved up to the Genius League. Ezra, too, has mastered many skills over the past week. He is now in the Champions League.

Keep up the good work, 2/2! :)

Here are today's reminders:

1) Work on your corrections for spelling if you have any and update your contents page before showing your Spelling Book to your parents for a signature. Bring it back on Friday for the next Spelling.

2) Lego, Gold and Ice, please make arrangements to help your respective group members for re-spelling tomorrow during recess. Each of the two groups will need to send one helper. Re-spellers, remember to prepare well for re-spelling tomorrow.

3) We will continue with your artwork from last Friday tomorrow during art lesson. Please remember to bring it together with your colour pencils and crayons.

4) If you still have re-corrections in your Magnetic Max booklet and English Practice Test that are not marked, submit them tomorrow.

See you tomorrow! :)
