Dear children,

I hope the Social Studies Quiz was a breeze for you after our revision together! I look forward to hearing good news from Mrs Jamal.

You would have finished up your composition on the Robot-making Contest today. Many of you are improving your writing skills and I'm very glad about that. I'm looking forward to reading your stories! :)

For math, we learnt how to 'cut' rectangles, squares, and circles into 2 equal parts, 3 equal parts and 4 equal parts. We learnt about halves, thirds and quarters. We also learnt what numerators and denominators are. Can you remember what they refer to? Share with your parents!

Natalie has moved up to join Brian and Seth in the Mathematicians League over the past week. She has got just 7 more P2 skills to master! I hope all of you will see her as a great example of a diligent problem solver!

Jenna has moved up one level to the Wizards League. She's now left with just 21 more P2 skills to master!

Janine has moved up to join Elijah and Zhi Zong in the Genius League, while Raeann, David and Zane have joined Dawn and Luke in the Professional League.

How many 2/2 children do you think we will have in the Mathematicians League before this term ends? :)

Here are today's reminders:

1) Lego and Disney, please make arrangements to help your respective group members for re-spelling tomorrow during recess. Each of the two groups will need to send one helper. Re-spellers, remember to prepare well for your re-spelling.

2) Please bring your Spelling Book tomorrow and submit it to me for checking. All corrections must be completed. Your contents page must be updated too.

3) If you have not passed your I-Read Book to your friend, bring it tomorrow and pass it before Silent Reading Time.

4) You'll be having your second drama lesson with Ms Ana tomorrow. Look forward to it!
