Dear children,

We talked about the different sounds that animals make today. We learnt that a lamb bleats, a frog croaks, and an eagle screams. Do you remember what word we used to describe the sound a turkey makes? What about the sound a pigeon makes? :)

We also made words with the ending sounds "gle", "ble" and "ry" and worked on two comprehension practices. Do you remember what "emigrated" from the first comprehension passage means? How do you pronounce that word correctly? :)

Here are today's reminders:

1) Submit your journal tomorrow. Your latest entry on the Friendship Fun Day should be made up of least 5 sentences. Do not write more than 2 pages. If you like, you may draw a picture and colour it after you have written your entry.

2) Bring your I-Read Book tomorrow to pass to your friend.

3) Please pass the letter about the Middle East Respiratory Sydrome Coronavirus and Avian Flu to your parents.

4) If you are one of the 5 children who brought back the colouring sheet for the colouring contest, please submit it to me latest by Thursday. You may submit it earlier.

5) If you are one of the 10 children who brought back the yellow activity sheet for the innovation contest, please submit it to me latest by Thursday. You may submit it earlier.

6) Tomorrow's art lesson will be conducted by Mr Edwin in the computer lab. You do not need to bring any materials.

8) You would have received your Spelling Book today. If there are still re-corrections that are not marked, work on them during your June holidays. Keep the Spelling Book well. You will bring it back next term when school reopens.

9) Please work on Page 46 of your FTGP Journal with your parents during the June holidays. You will submit it when school reopens next term.
