Dear children,
We completed our remaining corrections in the Unit 7 math booklets before continuing with our class story today. Here's the story we wrote together (Click on the picture to read it):
Our 3 Super Spellers for last Friday's spelling are:
Jenna and Natalie from Seashell
Seth from Avatar
They each earned 2 ice-cream sticks for their groups.
Here's the ice-cream sticks update for last week:
Seashell is leading right now! Let's see which group will lead by the end of this week. ;)
Here are the reminders for today:
1) Show your parents your Listening Comprehension Practice Test paper and ask for a signature. Bring it back on Wednesday for me to check.
2) If you have not submitted your artwork, please submit on Wednesday.
3) Please bring your I-Read Book on Wednesday to pass it to your friend.
4) If you have not submitted your Magnetic Max Experiment worksheet, please submit it on Wednesday.
5) Show your parents the three Unit 7 math booklets you brought home today and ask for signatures. Bring back the signed booklets on Wednesday for me to check. If you've just submitted your corrections today, you will only get your booklet back on Wednesday.
6) Work on your spelling and dictation corrections if you need to. I will post the dictation passage on this blog at 9 a.m. tomorrow. You may refer to it for your corrections if you need to.
7) Check AskNLearn after 9 a.m. tomorrow for the tasks I'll be putting up to help you prepare for your Listening Comprehension Test. You'll have until Thursday morning to complete them. Manage your time.
8) Amelie, Zane, David and Zhi Zong, please remember to pass the envelope containing the P1 Application Form and the Non-Mother Tongue Language Form to your parents. Submit both forms to me on Wednesday.
9) Legend, Disney, Lego, Ice and Gold, please make arrangements to help your respective group members for re-spelling on Wednesday during recess. Each of the five groups will need to send one helper. Re-spellers, remember to prepare well for re-spelling on Wednesday.
Have a good Vesak Day holiday with your family! See you on Wednesday! :)
