Dear children,
We went through the corrections for your Listening Comprehension Test before starting on our next composition. As we discussed how to write our story on the Robot-making Contest, we discussed how we could describe our characters anticipating the contest results and how we could describe their excitement upon knowing that they had won the contest.
Of course, there are many more sentences we can use, but using some of these will be a good start to making your stories better. Remember: You want your reader to be able to imagine what you are imagining. Using some of these sentences can help to paint clear pictures in the minds of your readers! :)
Here are today's reminders:
1) You would have received your English Test and Listening Comprehension Test papers. Show them to your parents and ask for a signature on each of them. Bring both papers back tomorrow.
2) Prepare well for your Social Studies Quiz tomorrow. I have uploaded some slides on AskNLearn to help you with your revision. They are from Mrs Jamal. All the best for your quiz! :)
3) Art lesson will be combined with your computer lesson with Mr Edwin tomorrow. He will introduce digital art to you. You do not need to bring any art materials.
4) Lego and Disney, please make arrangements to help your respective group members for re-spelling tomorrow during recess. Each of the two groups will need to send one helper. Re-spellers, remember to prepare well for your re-spelling.
5) Most of you would have received your marked composition today. Submit your corrections on Wednesday. If you are one of the seven who will only receive it tomorrow, you may submit your corrections on Thursday.
See you tomorrow! :)
