Dear children,
I hope our time together today was fruitful for you.
We did more on addition of fractions during math lesson. Some of you who were faster also moved on to subtracting fractions. Most of you are learning very well and are getting faster at working out the story sums involving fractions. Keep it up! If you think you need more practice at home, remember there is always KooBits!
You got to practise typing during computer lesson with Mr Edwin. He said that you should be ready for your typing test next Tuesday. If you have a computer at home, practise typing this week by visiting http://www.typingweb.com. Aim to be accurate and fast! :)
During art lesson, we discussed tertiary colours and how shades, tints and tones are different. Do you remember how tertiary colours are formed? How are shades, tints and tones different from one another?
We also looked at some examples of paper collage and talked about the materials needed to create one. Over the next few days, you can start thinking about how you want to create your paper collage. We will work on that during our art lesson next week.
I have got the labels for your new group names pasted on the ice-cream sticks box. With those in place, we are now ready to begin our competition for July. Let's see whether I will have to give out Level 4 prizes this time. ;)
Here are today's reminders:
1) Pass the school newsletter and the administrative information sheet to your parents. There is important information in them that your parents will need to know.
2) If you have not completed your holiday quizzes on AskNLearn, please work on them. I will check my records tomorrow morning at 11 a.m..
3) You will be having your third drama lesson with Ms Ana tomorrow. Remember big actions, consistency, and the 4 Ps - Projection, Pitch, Pace and Pause. If you can't remember any of these, you know it is time to take out your notes and do some quick revision! Be ready for your lesson tomorrow. Remember, we are preparing for a stage performance on 8 August and you will want your audience to be impressed!
Have a restful evening with your family. See you tomorrow! :)
