Dear children,

I hope the E-learning tasks today were manageable. My AskNLearn records show that a few of you have not completed the tasks. If you are one of these children, please complete them before you go to bed tonight.

Here are today's announcements:

1) I would like to encourage you to join an art competition titled "Moove Media Hails Young Kids". It is not compulsory, but if you do join, there is a chance that you might win prizes worth up to $10,000! On top of that, if you are one of the winners, your artwork will be displayed at one of the 12 North-east Line train stations.

The submission deadline is 31 October. You may use any art materials such as watercolour, poster colour, oil paint, and crayons, to create your dreams on a sheet of A2-size canvas.

If you are a little interested to join but think it might be difficult for you to win, remember this photograph I showed you on the first day we met:

I did not expect to win anything when my art teacher got me to join this, but I did win something in the end! Give this competition a try. You never know what will happen when you put in your best! Who knows, perhaps you and your work might be featured in the newspapers too! :)

2) I am testing out a new Math online portal that is similar to KooBits. It is called KungfuMath. If you have some free time during your holidays, I would like to invite you to try it out. This is not compulsory.

3) I have added a "Follow By Email" function to this blog. If you or your parents would like to receive my daily updates by e-mail, simply enter your e-mail address in the "Follow By Email" box on the right side of the page. Then, click on the "Submit" button. Once this set-up is completed, daily updates on this blog will be sent automatically to your e-mail account.

4) I will be putting up some items on AskNLearn on next Wednesday night (10 September) at 8 p.m. to help you with some revision. Keep a lookout.

5) Remember to practise for your upcoming Oral Examination. It will be held on the second day of Week 1.
