Dear children,
Today, we worked on a new composition on the topic of a lost kitten. While you wrote your compositions, some of you had your individual oral practice with me.
So far, I am pleased with how well many of you are able to read. However, some of you were having difficulty with the new Stimulus-based Conversation (SBC). Over this weekend, please refer to my blog post on 21st August regarding how you will be assessed for SBC. Refer to the AskNLearn package "P2 Oral Examination Practice" that I posted last week too, so that you know how you can use the DEEP approach to help you do well for that. It would be really good if you could practise at home with your parents or siblings. If not, practising by yourself in front of a mirror would help too. To score well for oral, there is no better way than practising, so practise, practise, and practise!
During art lesson, we discussed about textures. You used your plasticine and simple tools such as pencils, rulers, keys, plastic knives and coins to create different textures. Next Tuesday, you will have 20 minutes to continue with your work. Bring your materials along again so that you can create and submit a beautiful masterpiece.
Here is the final ice-cream sticks update for this month:
The members of Hobbit have worked hard at keeping up their performance. I hereby announce that Hobbit is the Group of the Month for August! Congratulations, Hobbit! :)
Have a good weekend with your family. Remember to spend some time practising your conversational skills. See you on Monday! :)
Thank you Mr Wong.
