Dear children,
Elizabeth, Thaneeisha and Vanessa represented our class today at the Talent Platform. I must say that we have really talented children in P2/2 Joy! Here are videos of their performances, in case you missed them:
We spent our math lesson today finishing up our corrections for the Part B and C booklets for division. Those of you who still weren't sure of some working also had some time to ask me questions. I hope everyone is much clearer about the topic of division now.
During English lesson, we made our Friendship Booklets. We also watched a video of a Chinese opera and discussed about the different colours used on the masks. We learnt that different colours represent different traits of a character in a Chinese opera. For example, a Chinese opera actor acting the role of a loyal and courageous general would wear a red mask, while the actor acting the role of a cunning and crafty villain would wear a white mask.
From the discussion, we also learnt some new adjectives to describe people.
Here are the reminders for today:
1) Bring your art materials tomorrow. You will continue with your half-completed painting, so bring everything that is necessary. If you cannot remember what these are, refer to last Tuesday's post.
2) Colour the mask that you brought home and bring it back tomorrow. If you need some colouring ideas, refer to the pictures on this website: http://www.cnto.org.au/the-culture4-2/beijing-opera.html
3) Log on to AskNLearn and access the quiz "P2/2 Math Practice Quiz 5 (Units 3 & 4)". I created this 45-minute quiz for you to help you prepare for the upcoming test on 25 April. Please complete it latest by this Thursday. You can do this quiz as many times as you like. If I were you, I would do it till I get full marks!
4) If you have not submitted your P1 registration form, please do so tomorrow.
Have an enjoyable evening. See you tomorrow! :)
Mr Wong did you download the video I can't see. Ezra
ReplyDeleteThe videos took some time to be uploaded because I was using the internet connection from my phone. The uploading paused when my internet access got cut off as I entered Malaysia. The videos are there now though. Enjoy! :)
