Dear children,

I was very glad to receive donations from the families of Zane, Elijah, Janine, Sheena, Brian and Seth today. I was told that a few of you actually used your own savings to buy the items so that you could give them to the poor. I must say I am very impressed and encouraged by your big hearts. This is a good start for your young lives. My prayer is that you will continue to remember the poor and give to them even as you grow up. God loves a cheerful giver. :)

You spent some time today completing what was left of your KooBits online homework before we went on to go through some of your weak areas. I am now confident that many of you will do very well for tomorrow's Maths Examination, provided that you remember what you have been taught and are not careless. Check, check, and check. During the examination, you are not allowed to sleep or waste any time.

Here's what you can earn for your group if you get...

80 to 83.5 marks: 20 ice-cream sticks
84 to 87.5 marks: 25 ice-cream sticks
88 to 91.5 marks: 30 ice-cream sticks
92 to 95.5 marks: 35 ice-cream sticks
96 to 99.5 marks: 40 ice-cream sticks
100 marks: 45 ice-cream sticks (Go for this!)

Please do not overwork yourself. The work above is not compulsory. You can decide how much you want to complete. Ask your parents to help you decide when you should be resting. They know you best. You should have a clear mind and be full of energy tomorrow when you start your paper at 1.30 p.m..

3) If you are taking part in the "Moove Media Hails Young Kids" art competition I mentioned some time ago, tomorrow is the first day that you can submit your artwork to Moove Media. According to Moove Media, the first 50 children to submit their artwork to them will receive a Goodie Bag worth $35.
