Dear children,
It was indeed a fruitful day of learning English today. We created sentences with the conjunction 'when', discussed the differences between the use of the prepositions 'at' and 'to', and created sentences with them. We also identified proper nouns in a passage and learnt that they always begin with capital letters.
When we got to the part where you had to spell your parents' names as proper nouns, I realised that some of you didn't know how to! If you are one of those who don't know how to spell your parents' names, please learn to do so from your parents. You will have to fill in your booklet when you get it back.
For math, we moved on to learn about regrouping of ones into tens in addition of 3-digit numbers today. For homework today, please go to the following website and try 20 questions: http://www.prongo.com/madmath/adding_to_thousand/ You may work out the questions on rough paper before typing your answers.
Remember that there's spelling tomorrow. Bring along your spelling book with your corrections completed and the contents page updated. Will you earn an ice-cream stick for your group? :)
Have a blessed evening with your family! :)
Thank you Mr Wong
